Welcome! I am an Australian pastel artist.

I found my way back to art in about 2016 when my friends and I would take a bottle of wine and some glasses to various night art classes to de-stress from the day. It was there I found pastels. I was drawn to pastels over other mediums as they produce fabulous texture and vibrancy of colour.

Much of my work is inspired by the qualifications I have undertaken: Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, a Master in International Business and other qualifications in Real Estate and Placemaking. This led me into a varied career touching on overseas development, corporate and community management for Foodbank and Vinnies and and former work involving placemaking, master planning, and sustainability for a University.

The things I am most proud of are bringing in $210,000 for the CEO Sleepout in the Northern Territory three years running - which was more, on a per capita basis, than anywhere else in the country; and running a series of sustainability projects that included supporting engineering and IT students, and working with University staff to save water and energy, planting trees and implementing recycling that led to the University being a finalist in the Creating Impact section of the Australasian Green Gown Awards in 2019.

My art practice therefore has a focus on building communities: such as history, buildings, walkable streets, a sense of vibe and third spaces; and in sustainability: heat mapping, community gardens, native flora and fauna and the fragility of the Australian landscape.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find joy and inspiration in my work.
